Megan Ward Shipping and Returns Policy
All work will be shipped 2–4 business days after payment has been received. Work is shipped from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, to everywhere a selected carrier (Canada Post, FedEx, UPS) provides service.
Shipping costs, including associated taxes, duties and customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping charges are determined by the carrier selected at checkout. Shipping charges will vary by carrier as well as by the size, weight and destination of the package. Insurance and a tracking number are mandatory. All charges including those for tracking numbers, insurance and signature required are subject to the pricing of the specific carrier selected at checkout. The tracking number will be sent by e-mail once the item has been dispatched. Where buyer wishes to have a signature required for receipt or additional insurance placed on an order due to buyer's shipping address or otherwise, please contact me immediately after the order is placed to make arrangements. Artwork may also be picked up from my studio in Peterborough, Ontario by appointment.
If the artwork is damaged during shipping, please keep the packaging and e-mail artist immediately upon delivery (within 48 hours), including digital images of the damage.
If the buyer is dissatisfied with the product for any other reason, please contact the artist within 14 days of delivery. While returns are not accepted, items can be exchanged for a different artwork of equal or greater value. Buyers are responsible for all shipping, customs and duty charges associated with exchanges in addition to any difference in price of artwork. The new work will be shipped out once the payment (shipping and price difference) has been received and the original artwork has been delivered to the artist in its original condition, preferably using the original packing material. Insurance for the purchase value of the work must be included in the shipping for the exchanged item.
If returned artwork is received in a condition other than new, a repair fee (minimum of 15% of the cost of the item) will be required before the new work can be shipped to the buyer.
Artwork may also be exchanged in person at the studio by appointment.
