Megan is a painter based in Peterborough, Ontario, whose broad, mixed media approach to art-making is rooted in traditional techniques. Oil and acrylic paints, photography, collage and image transfer techniques, pen and graphite are regular fixtures in her work. She grew up in a small village near Peterborough and returned to the area in 2012 after completing her studies in fine art at the post-secondary level. She graduated from OCAD University (Toronto) with BFA in Drawing & Painting and had the privilege of completing the final year of her program at OCADU’s studio in Florence, Italy. Meg’s studio-gallery space, Hexagon Studios, has been the home of her professional practice since 2015. In 2017, Meg began teaching painting classes for adults at The Art School of Peterborough.
